Duncan Evans Signs With Prophecy/Auerbach

Duncan Evans, also known as Henry Hyde Bronson from the Gentlemen’s Club of A Forest Of Stars, has signed a five-album contract with Auerbach Tonträger / Prophecy Productions.

As a solo artist, the talented singer songwriter – renowned for his unique, progressive guitar style in the psychedelic black metal act – will bring his English folk and alternative influences to life, inspired by the likes of Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Nick Drake and Roy Harper.

His works are a stripped-back, acoustic affair that have a story-telling quality to them, focusing on the darker, more sombre side of life. Evans has completed work on debut album ‘Lodestone’ and it will be released later in the year.

A song from upcoming record ‘Lodestone’ entitled ‘Bird of Prey’ is the first to be unveiled by the guitarist and it can be heard below: On signing to Prophecy, Evans said: "I am delighted and honoured that Prophecy Productions have chosen to give their backing to my music. Their exaltation of creative freedom is ideal in allowing artists to express (as Victor Hugo would have it) 'that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.' I look forward to a continued and fruitful collaboration!"

Duncan Evans will play his first major solo performance at Roadburn 2013 on Saturday, April 20th at Cul de Sac, Tilburg, Holland.
